Christmas Cards

Hi there everyone!!!
I know it's really late, and Christmas is over.. but I am going to start posting my cards that I created during this holiday season. I don't know what it was this year, but I wasn't too much into the decorating like I am every year... I go out and make my home into a magical Christmas place... this year all I did was take out my Christmas pillows for decorations and some garland... and the Christmas Tree, that's it. I know i know it wasn't the same... maybe next year I will bring all of my items... well anyway.. I hope you enjoy this card. I used an angel stamp that I purchased from Michael's added some glitter, some rhinestones.. and I used some scraps for the dp. I hope you like it and have a wonderful Week.

Mini Album

Hi there bloggers!!!
Just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year!! I finally downloaded the pictures from my camera and I am going to share with you a mini accordion album I made for my mother's birthday... I made it with all the pictures of her grandchildren. She has a total of 8. It took me a while since I didn't know how it was going to come out. But she loved it and I was happy with the outcome. Update...

Hi Everyone!!! Merry Christmas!!!
I hope every one is having a wonderful time with all there love ones. I hope no one is stuffing themselves too much.. Well anyway I was trying to upload all the cards that I have made these couple of weeks.. but guess what? The camera's battery died!!! Could you believe that? I think I might need to purchase a new battery for it too, it dies on me too fast.. Well anyway, I was looking in my 11K pictures that I have in this computer and found my first cards that I created.. there not cute at all.. but I have developed my artistic skills and have made decent cards.. I hope you like them, I didn't.. they are boring and have no type of "wow" to them.. Any way.. see you next time.. and Have a wonderful New Year's if I don't blog before that!!

Sorry no Card

Hi Everyone!
It's been a loooong time since I last posted something on my blog... I am soooo sorry.. I don't know what is going on lately.. there is soooo many things going on, besides being the holidays.. it's been very busy.. there are so many birthday parties that are quickly coming up.. there are holiday craft fairs that I need to go to.. (I love checking out the creativity of so many talented people). There was that crazy shopping day... I got a few items I wanted for myself.. I purchased a Sizzix... of course I havent' even used it with all that is going on.. Ohhh and my family and I took a short day trip to central part of California.. I live in Southern California.. It was beautiful and amazing.. And I still wonder how people can say that there is no God.. I am sadden to hear people say that after I see the beauty that He created for us to enjoy. Anyway.. I haven't had the chance to download my pictures that I have taken from the items I did create.. so I am going to post a picture of my children.. I have three adorable children and I am so Blessed to the mother of these three lovable children.. Happy Wednesday and talk to you soon.. Hopefully I will have more things to share with you.

Hi Everyone...
I am so sorry that I have been away.. since we changed the time it seems as though I can't get anything done.. it gets so dark soo fast.. that I feel that it's time to sleep at 7!! I know I must be crazy.. i guess it will take some time to get used to this dark.. anyway.. Hi Happy Wednesday!

It is finally Wednesday and I can't wait till this Friday.. well actually I am more excited for it to be on Saturday night.. why you ask? No no..it's nothing to do with the Halloween parties I got invited to.. it's more like I get to sleep and extra hour on Sunday... YAY!! I think it makes a big difference when you rest an hour more.. instead of 6 hours a day of sleep I hope I can get 7... I know.. I don't get enough sleep! My sister tells me she needs at least 9 hours.. she needs her beauty sleep... I am telling you..some people have it made! Anyway.. I have this other projects that I made a few weeks ago and I am going to share them with you.. One of them is a little bag that is made out of an envelope.. simple yet so cute! Baby Diapers

Happy Monday!!! New week, new beginnings..
Today I am going to share with you a card that is the cutest thing ever. I can't remember where I found it.. I blog Hop to much.. and end up loosing everything.. Sorry to the person that came up with this idea and I can't give credit where credit is due.. Well any way I made this cute little diapers that you can fit a small card in and use it to hold a little bag of goodies.. I only did pink.. for now.. I will work on my blues.. :)

Paper Bag Album

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to share with you this really cool picture album I made from paper bags! I know at first I thought it would look weird, but then when I finally finished it..I loved it! I made it for my friend Jessica who's birthday was this last Saturday. I hope she will add her pictures and share them with me.. she said she was.. will see. :) Anyway I used 8 paper bags instead of 6.. and I used the DP I have not sure what companies the paper is from.. but I know I have a few companies there. I added a few ribbon and got the accordion idea from Dawn at Dawns stampingthoughts.typepad.com. She is so cool and has some awesome ideas.. you should check her out! I hope you enjoy my album..I only added a few pictures.. I am not sure where the rest went.. :( anyway Talk to you later

Explosion Box

Happy Monday!
Just wanted to share some of the items that I have been creating lately. I have been youtubing.. and have found some amazing talent.. and well I have decided to give them a try as well.. The first one I am going to share with you is the Explosion Box. I went to a scrapbooking store and they had all kinds of different style ones..Of course I did buy the outline for it.. but mensa me.. I forgot about the wonderful world of the net.. I went on you tube and found a tutorial on how to make it.. I found it from ozsomenurse at youtube. She is very good at giving the exact measurements it isn't completely finished.. just the base of the box is, but not the embellishments.. I hope you enjoy it and here is my take on it... I know that I see my count go up everyday, but I am wondering if it's really working.. No one ever leaves me any comments.. but the counter keeps counting.. hmmm.... Should I start being funny? Thank You Card

Hi Everyone I have been too busy blog hoping again and i haven't gotten a chance to add to my own blog... Well I am going to try and be more dedicated to this so that you may know what is going on. I have created a Thank you card for an employee at the bank where I do business with. I haven't seen such great customer service in a person for a long time. I wanted him to know that. I made it in boy colors.. Greens and blues. I used some of my old ribbon and I can't remember where the stamp came from.. I keep getting so many! Well I hope you like it and talk to you soon.

Birthday Card

Hi everyone
I wanted to share with you the cutest card ever!! I found it on Youtube.. it is called the Marvelous Magical Marquee Card.. it's an easy tutorial to follow and it comes out great.
A coworker wanted me to make a birthday card for his son's birthday and so I wanted to try this new card out.. I used stamps that I allready had in my box and used the cardstock that I had purchased a loooong time ago.. I don't remember where I purchased it or from what company it is from. I added a piece of ribbon on the bottom of the card to close it up. I hope you like it.. and happy creating!!

Sept OCS

Hi Everyone just wanted to share with you the card that I made for Misty I was partnered with her from Teri's Card Swap... you can visit her blog at bigideasfromalittlegirl.blogspot.com.. I used a stamp I recently purchased at Target and it's similar to my last card that I made for my friend Laura. I hope she likes it!! The same idea went into it but the tabs I made for the inside are blank.. that way she can use it to write her sentiment for someone. I still need to learn to get company's info on the items that I use... talk to you soon and Happy Creating!!!

Pink Card

I am soooo happy today is finally Wednesday.. that means we only have 2 more days till the work week is over!! Yay!!! I finally have my SU class on Saturday and I am so looking forward to it. I received an invitation to a birthday party for a 3 year old girl. The theme is a Princess and it starts an hour earlier than my class.. I was debating whether I was going to go or not.. but then I realize that I have been waiting for a whole month for my SU class.. I can't miss it!! So I will be making a birthday card and giving her a gift on Sunday when we see them again.
I wanted to share with you my card that I made for my BF from my childhood. It's funny that just a couple of months ago I was BF less.. I hadn't seen or heard from her since we were little.. but the technology of today is AWESOME!! She found me on Facebook... and well ever since we haven't stopped talking or emailing each other. Any way I will posting her card and I know she is so anxiously waiting for.

I used a pink CS for the base, I added some DP from my stash and I can't remember what company it is from. I used the new Stamp I just bought from CC Designs.. I love this Stamp!!
I got the idea for this card from a YouTube video, I need to get the chick's info so that i can give her credit for it.. I used a different size envelope. I didn't use the regular A2 one that she suggested. Anyway I hope you like it!!

First September Card

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!! I have to start getting used to posting something everyday... I don't do that now.. I don't know what it is.. I get caught up on viewing all the blogs and by the time I finish, it's late and I ran out of things to say... I get my mind in a blur and nothing comes out.. I have been very busy making a few cards. The first one for today is the one I made for my sister. I didn't know what else I can get her so I made her a birthday card and a few Thank you cards. My sister is a preschool teacher and a lot of the parents give her things when the children move to kindergarden... she is always struggling to get cute Thank you cards... so I made her some so that she can give them to the parents. Her favorite colors are Purple and Pink.. so with that in mind I made 3 cards with that color theme and also her card for her. I hope you like it.. I welcome any comments.

I used a tissue paper for the background of this card from my niece's birthday party. I even told my sister that she was going to see it again. I added some ribbon from my stash.. I have a lot of ribbon and I don't even have a clue where it all came from. I used some glitter for the butterfly and the stamp is from SU.. I am not sure what set it is from.

The thank you cards are purple with a few flowers and the stamp that I used I am not sure what company it is from. I know that I purchased it from a store called Alin's party supply... it was in clearance and I loved the way it looked. I still have to learn to give more information and more exact company items.. anyway.. till next time.. be Happy and Be Blessed!!!

Blog Candy & update

Hi Everyone I have been very busy with the first day of school for my daughters. It was my youngest first day at kindergarden and I think I was more nervous then she was. My oldest just started junior High and was excited and scared.. but everything went ok... I hope to share a few cards that I have made recently. This last post is for the card I just made for my monthly SU Card swap we have at our church. We only meet once a month and we create a card that our demonstrator Dawn has for us. Then we vote on the card we love the most, and who ever wins gets a little something from Mrs. Dawn's stash. I actually won for the first time last month. The card with the sandals that I previously posted won. I was surprised, I never win. I am going to post my other cards that I have done so that you can see the difference from the first time till now. I have come a long way.. I think I owe it to all of the other blogs I have visited.. I guess there is no end to your imagination. I usually like to use different things.. not just ordinary items.. you can view them later. August Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!!

I have been busy trying to get some cards out, and well I finally did!! I made a card for someone very special who is having a birthday very soon. The second one is just a thank you card for my friend Claudia.

The first one is for my Sunday School Teacher Ms. Maria, and the second one is for a friend who recently gave me some of her left over scraps. I hope they both enjoy there card.

I started with Lavander CS. I used the DS paper that my friend Claudia gave me. I love the way this pansies look! Then I added the handmade crochet flowers I made for the extra special touch. Simple but very cute.

On to the next cards for those other special people who's birthday''s are in September. My sister Araceli included. :) Love you Sis!!

O.C.S. for August

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to share my card that I made for Terri's OCS over at bigideasfromalittlegirl, I got teamed up with June from Hawaii. I hope she likes it!

For this card I used Aquamarine CS as the background, Yellow and orange for the flowers. The paper isn't from any particular brand, its just some paper I had from my scrapbooking I never finished. It's on my to do list... or is it my bucket list? Any way I am still learning to use this and need more practice.
