Karin's Card

It's Sunday and I am getting ready for my work week. My husband was out of town since Thursday and will be coming back tonight, I can't wait to see him. I've missed him soo much!
I was able to attend the Sunday PM service at my church and I was very blessed to have been there today. Tonight's service was dedicated to me. How I should be living my life and what I need to change. I know it's not an easy path to follow but I want to.. I want to teach my children to love God above all the things in this world. I know it's very hard to teach that to a 5 year old but I know that she understands why I do it. So if any of you are God fearing women and love the Lord please pray for me so that I can continue the correct path. Thank you for all your prayers.

Now for my card. I did this card for my other partner from Papercraftplanet. Her name is Karin and she lives in Holland. I used the same type of paper that I used on Fiorellas' but a different color. The only difference that I did on this card was that I added a button inside of the card so that it will be easier to stand. I hope you like this card and I will post something later on this week. May God bless you all.

Swap from PaperCraftPlanet

W
Hi Everyone,
Happy Hump Day just wanted to share with you the card that I made for my partner for my card swap at the PaperCraftPlanet. Her name is Fiorella and she lives in Italy. I did receive her card this week. I will post it later. Any way, I used some aquamarine CS as the base and used the StampinUp! products on this card. I used the FriendlyWords roller as the main sentiment and the butterfly cutouts that are embossed are also from StampinUp!. The DP is from the Pocket full of Posies collection from DCWV. Ohh how I love there papers!! I used Prima flowers and used Blue Stickles for the path of the butterfly. The inside of the card has a punch from EK Sucess. I like the way it came out. Well I hope everything is going Great with you. May God continue to Bless everyone and good night.

January OCS

Happy Hump Day!!
I made this card for Mary my OCS partner this month. I don't know about you but I am in the mood of making Valentine theme cards... Red, Pink, White... you know "love" colors. So that is what I made Mary... I figure she can also use this for any other occassion.. it doesn't really have too much hearts in it. Well if you see it closely you will see them. I used Pink Cardstock.. a few leaves that I bought a loooong time ago and never really used them.. until Now! I used some bling to add to the hearts. The stamp hearts used are from Craft Smart and I bought those at Michael's. I love that store with all those awesome deals! The DP is from Three Bugs In a Rug. The idea from this awesome card is from a video I found on Youtube from Jennifer McGuire from Hero Arts. The design is called a slider card. You can check that out here. She also had another cool technique.
I hope my partner likes her card. I definitely will be making more like these soon. I just love this card!
Happy Creating!

Scrapbook Expo..

Hi Everyone!!
Guess what? I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Costa Mesa, CA and I came back filled with ideas and with bags filled with items that were such an awesome deal. Well my friend Jazmin and I took classes together. We took 3 and I loved the last class. Which I knew I was ever since I saw the title. The class was for a really cool technique. It's called... The Jacob's Ladder Technique.... It was such a great class.. thanks to Val who taught this class so well. Well I am going to share the two layouts that we did in that class. I didn't embellish them since we didn't have any time t0 finish them. Well the technique is still there and was the best technique ever!!! I really did enjoy this class. The other two classes were ok.. the first one was intereting but the second wasn't what I expected. The lady wasn't very organized and it was just not to par. Well anyway. I hope you like the pictures.

XoXo...
